Fort Assiniboine School Week at a Glance April 8-12, 2024
Solar Eclipse – On Monday, April 8, 2024 there will be a partial solar eclipse in our area. It is expected to begin at 11:55 a.m., peak at 12:46 p.m., and finish by 1:37 p.m. To ensure safety during this time, our schools are adjusting schedules and activities to keep students indoors. The Fort School will keep students inside between 11:55 and 1:37, which includes INSIDE LUNCH RECESS.

- Our grade 1-3 had another online session with Let’s Talk Science and learned about Greenhouse Gases
- Grade 1&2 have started the baby chick incubation process
- Our Elementary basketball teams organized a thank you party for student coach Kafka – complete with balloons, basketball cakes, cookies, and a nice thank you card
