Fri. June 21 – YES we have school today,  National Day of Indigenous Peoples

National Indigenous Peoples day

  • On June 21 the school will be hosting a grades 1-9 day of Indigenous studies/ learning. It will be led by teachers and the leadership team. The school is seeking out volunteers that would be willing to cook stew and bannock for the kids to have at lunch. 
  • If any families have history or know someone who is First Nations, Inuit, Metis or Indigenous and would like to help share the history and stories from an elders perspective please contact the school. 

June 25 – Gr. 4&5 Field Trip with Nature Alive; Last Day of Kindergarten & Kindergarten Grad

Thurs. June 27 – Last Student Day; Gr. 6-9 Field Trip to Nature Alive Center (and canoeing)
