Fort Assiniboine School Week at a Glance Oct. 31 – Nov. 4, 2022

Mon. Oct. 31 – Halloween

• Students wait until after lunch to change into costumes
• Pumpkin carving – Gr. 2&3 , Jr. High , Gr. 4&5 , Gr. 1&2 are painting pumpkins
• School wide Costume Parade – assemble in gym at 3:30, Gr. 1-9 can see each others costumes, then go out the elementary doors to show costumes to parents outside, come back in front entrance, pack up for hometime (parents please check in with your child’s teacher if you are  children home) , parents please pick up students  pumpkins after school
• There will be candy handed out at the School front entrance from 5-8 pm

Tues. Nov. 1 – Dress in Camo Day

• Picture Retakes in the afternoon
• Gr. 6-9 New CTF courses begin today, Handbells and Genius Hour – Tuesday/Thursday.  Coding and Drama on Monday/Wednesday

Wed. Nov. 2

• PAWS today
• Jr. High Volleyball switched from Thursday to today:
  • 1:15 – 2:00 RF Boys vs Fort Boys
  • 2:00 – 2:45 RF Girls vs Fort Girls
  • 2:45 – 3:30 RF Boys vs Neerlandia Boys
  • 3:30 – 4:15 RF Girls vs Neerlandia Girls
  • 4:15 – 5:00 Fort Boys vs Neerlandia Boys
  • 5:00 – 5:45 Fort Girls vs Neerlandia Girls
• Awana Bible Study Youth Group from 4-6 – cancelled today

Thurs. Nov. 3

• Pizza with the Principal for October birthdays at lunch

Nov 15 – Dental Screening K – 2  starting 9:30 approx (Danielle AHS); Elementary Volleyball to Neerlandia (depart at 2:45, return approx. 6:15)

Nov. 17 – Jr. High Tripleball Tournament all day @ Westlock Spirit Center

Fri. Nov. 18 – Teachers PD NO SCHOOL

Nov. 22 –  Elementary Volleyball host Dunstable 2:30 – 4:00

Nov. 23 – Elementary Volleyball to BES (depart at 3:00) 

Nov. 28 – School Council Meeting 6:00 pm in Room 5 (Library not available)
