Winter Olympics Wrap-up: Barrhead Olympic Bobsledder Melissa Lotholz was ranked 15th in the world going into the Olympics and finished 12th. Four bobsled runs at the Olympics takes just over 4 minutes. Preparation for that 4 minutes is 4 years of training. Melissa is the first woman to compete in the Olympic bobsled as both a brakeman and a driver. See FB pics.
FINS Update – alevin have used up yolk sacs and we are starting to add fish food to the tank
Skating Schedule – this is our final week of skating
Tuesday and Thursday: 11:35 – 12:15 Gr. 4&5; 1:00 – 1:50 Grade 6&7; 2:00 – 2:50 Kindergarten & Gr. 8&9
Wednesday 1:00 – 1:50 Gr. 1-3; Curling 3:00 – 3:50 CTF
Friday – no skating

- Elementary Basketball traveling to Neerlandia for mini-tournament:
- Fort vs. Neerlandia 1:00 – 1:40; Fort vs Pembina North 1:40 – 2:20
- Return to the Fort by 3:30 in time for buses
Fri. Feb. 25 – YES there is school today 🙂
