• Student Celebration of Learning 4:15 – 8:00

Tues. March 12

• Morning announcements for students:  
  • Good Luck to all of our students performing at the Barrhead Rotary Music Festival today
• Student Celebration of Learning 4:15 – 8:00

Wed. March 13

• Morning announcements for students: 

• Jr. High Ski Trip Departs for Jasper at 2:00 pm 

Thurs. March 14 – Pi Day (3.14)

• Morning announcements for students:

• Jr. High Ski Trip away 
  • Jr. High Ski Trip returns approximately 9:00 pm
• Pie served at 2:16 from the kitchen

Fri. March 15 – Teacher Directed Day (No Students)

Information & Reflections from Last Week:

• Square Dancing – thank you Mr. Hawken for recruiting Bill DeGroot to come in to teach our students some “old school” dancing. 
• Sewing – we are fortunate to have 4 more community volunteers working with our grade 6-9 students. Thank you Roxanne Cross for organizing!
• Fish Care & Release – Thank you Alicia for all the time you put into taking care of our little trout. The Kindergarten loved the fish “release” into the big tank!

March 21 – Progress Reports sent home for K-9

March 22 – April 1 Spring Break (no fooling about April 1, classes resume on Tues. April 2)

April 18 – Spring Tea, recognition of volunteers 

April 23 – Jr. High Badminton Tournament at the Westlock Spirit Center

April 24 – Kindergarten Open House 1-4 pm

May 1 –  Science Field trip for Gr. 8&9 – River Watch in Edmonton

Wed. May 22 – School Council Meeting 

May 23 – K-5 Wetlands Day and Fish Release at Schuman Lake

Fril May 24 – Gr. 6&7 going to Huestis Forest 

Mon. May 27 – PHSD Jr. High Track Meet @BCHS (backup date is May 29)
