• Bus Safety Sessions Today:

• Gr. 6-9 Volleyball Game in Swan Hills this afternoon
  • teams will depart @ 12:15 and return in time for end of the day busses

Wed. Oct. 11   

• Goal Setting Meetings after school from 4:15 – 7:30

Thurs. Oct. 12 – Fire Prevention Day

• Fire Prevention Activities today , including pizza for the whole school at lunch
  • Fire Prevention Activities:
  • Kindergarten, Gr. 1&2 go to the Firehall from 9-10
  • Gr. 3-5 go to the Firehall from 10-11
  • Gr. 6&7 visit Firehall from 1-2; Gr. 8&9 visit from 2-3
• Goal Setting Meetings after school from 4:15 – 7:30
• Constable Vicente visiting in the afternoon

Fri. Oct. 20 – Teacher & Admin Assistant PD Day 

Sat. Oct. 21 – Jr. High Girls (Gr. 7-9 only) Volleyball tournament in Neerlandia (CCRS- private school)

Oct. 23  – Jr. High Tripleball Tournament at Westlock Spirit Center (all day)

Oct. 26 – Parent Society Hot Lunch – Taco in a Bag

Fri. Oct. 27 – Jr. High Teachers PD 

Tues. Oct. 31 – Halloween Activities (Dress up and Parade at 9:00, Bear House activities in the afternoon)

Thurs. Nov. 2 – Remembrance Day Ceremony 10:45 in the gym

• We hosted St. Mary School for Jr. High Volleyball games on Wed. Oct. 4
  • Thank you to Addison K and Kort for refereeing, Ali/Lina, Cole/Chase for scorekeeping
  • Thank you Mrs. Nelson for helping supervise the gym 

• Thank you to all staff for your patience and support leading up to and during Thursday’s elementary soccer tournament. There was a lot of behind the scenes work to make the tournament such a success for over 100 participants.

  • Nick Wieland refereed 7 straight games!
  • Kort (gr. 9) helped ref 3 games

• School Council Meeting
  • It was a quiet meeting, with only 5 of us, but we discussed the division’s student code of conduct, our School’s Ed Plan, school supply fees, and more
