Fire Safety Week: Our Fire Department donates lots of time and money to our school. Remember to submit contest entries as soon as possible this week:

Grade 3/4-Fire Escape Plan             Grade 5/6- poetry/paragraph

Tues. Oct. 9 – begin Drive Away Hunger Food Campaign (weigh in next Tues.)

• Green & Gold draws at morning assembly
• K-4 Cosmic Kids Yoga music room 12:30-1 
• Jr. High Volleyball Girls hosting Swan Hills from 4-5 pm  

Wed. Oct. 10

•  Jr. High cross country to zones in Athabasca – depart at 8:15 am, return late afternoon in time for buses
• 2:45 Jr. High Girls volleyball go to RF Staples, return approx. 6:30 pm
• FCCS Youth Activity at Rec Center after school today (zoology)

Thurs. Oct. 11

• Bus Safety Presentations – 
  • 10:15 – 11:45 Kindergarten (we can ask to start at 10:30)
  • 12:30 – 1:30 Gr. 1-4
  • 2:20 – 3:20 Gr. 5-9
• Pizza with the Principal at 12:10 today 
• Goal Setting Meetings #2 tonight 4:15 – 7:30

Fri. Oct. 12 – Fire Safety Day

• Fire Department providing pizza lunch for the entire school today – whoohoo!
  •  Tour of Firehall 
  •  Jr. High Challenge at the Firehall – physical challenge and crosswor
  • 3:00 – 3:30 Assembly with Prizes and Draw for a Ride Home with Sparky
• 9:00 Gr. 1&2 in VC Room watching “Cute, Spooky, or Fishy” from Texas State Aquarium
